Danforth Pewter was established in 1975 by Fred and Judi Danforth. The couple traveled to Nova Scotia to apprentice with pewter artisans, and then returned to Woodstock, VT, where they opened a workshop in an old dairy barn. From the start, both Fred and Judi designed and made their own creations.
Today, a talented team of artisans carries on the traditions of working with pewter, both casting and spinning, to create contemporary and traditional designs that are part of many beloved traditions and occasions.
