Veteran dance teacher, Elizabeth Rouse, has experience in teaching dancers of all ages from 2 years old to adults in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, Musical Theater and Competition Teams. She holds a B.A in Dance and a B.A in Psychology/Neuro-Behavioral Science from Bryn Mawr College and has trained at Harvard University for Contemporary American Drama.
Liz has been the Assistant Director and Choreographer for Neighborhood Children’s Theatre of Boston for over 18 years and has received multiple awards including a City of Boston Artist Grant, the Lutton Fund Theatre Prize, the Knickerbocker Prize for Excellence in Performing Arts and numerous national dance titles.
Professionally, Liz has performed nationally on tour with Broadway Across America in Rock of Ages, West Side Story and Hair and has choreographed productions for the Boston Commons Tree Lighting and Spookyworld.
